Optimism’s Magic

An optimist is someone who goes after Moby Dick in a rowboat and takes the tartar sauce with him,” wrote Zig Ziglar. It is that magical power gives great leaders eyes to light the darkness, an expectation of positive outcome, a focus on seeing a world of bounty and hope and a joyous delight in finding the best  and more in those who they serve. These are the change-makers, those exciting and passionate people who find endless possibilities to meet every challenge and inexhaustible belief that the best is yet to come.

Let us make a toast to these great leaders (ourselves and those whom we serve) who passionately believe in themselves and life’s possibilities with the words of Steve Jobs:

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes … the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules … You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things … they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

Embrace a magnificent optimism that fills your life with passion. Oprah Winfrey said: “When I look at the future, it’s so bright it burns my eyes!”. May life’s beautiful fire set you ablaze in optimism and love, and your embers set fire to the lives of others. Life is so very good.

Have a beautiful day and a magnificent week!!!
