One Moment in Time

In her song, One Moment of Time, Whitney Houston’s words capture key characteristics of great leaders, the drive to achieve their greatest potential, the desire to realize the best version of themselves, their pursuit to fulfill their life’s purpose and meaning.

She sings: “Each day I live, I want to be, A day to give, The best of me.” And through all that she faces on life’s journey – pain, rises and falls – there remains that relentless search to find that one moment in time “when I’m more than I thought I could be, when all of my dreams are a heartbeat away, and the answers are all up to me.” And when she does, “I will feel eternity, I’ve lived to be the very best…. You’re a winner for a lifetime if you seize that one moment in time.”

The words of this beautiful song give pause for a moment of quiet reflection… the great leaders’ continuing and ceaseless joy of creating those “one moment of time” each hour, day, week, month and year of their journey in their own life and in the lives of those whom they serve. May you, too, feel eternity, that you’ve lived your very best every beautiful and wondrous day of your magnificent life’s journey. And make those moments shine!

Have a beautiful day and a magnificent week!!!
