A Life Built on Challenge

It is inevitable that the lives of great leaders are filled with great challenges. Albert Camus speaks to great leaders of those moments: “In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.” These are the moments of growth and learning that build strength and character. The great leaders’ passion and enthusiasm give new perspective to these opportunities. They are new paths with new opportunities to achieve their life’s purpose. Martin Luther King Jr. tells great leaders: “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy..

In moments of adversity, may we remember the counsel of Michele Leonard: “Life is a great obstacle course, with bends and turns, wins and losses. When you get to the high jump, always remember to throw your heart over the bar – and the rest will follow.” May your heart, passion and love of life be the beacons that light your way, the inspiration to meet a challenge and the aspirations that drive you to achieve your life’s purpose and goals.  Remember always to throw your heart over the bar first… and the rest will follow. You will be all in to another moment of greatness on your magnificent life’s journey.

Have a beautiful day and a magnificent week!!!
