On Finding Your Ray of Sunlight

In her book, Business Devotional, Lillian Martin speaks to great leaders about those times in their lives when life’s events seem to conspire against them to bring them down. In those moments, their minds may even doubt about finding a way past that point. Martin writes: “Finding a ray of sunlight during the worst times is sometimes impossible to imagine, but it’s not impossible to achieve.”

She suggests that they already have all they need to get through those darkest days – the skills that they have developed over a lifetime of experiences – of facing challenges, belief in themselves and the ceaseless grit to work through any situation. Their gift is knowing that they have that strength.

An unknown author wrote: “Once you carry your own water, you will learn the value of every drop.” May your life-learnings be the rays of sunlight that take away moments of darkness. Remember the words of Willie Nelson: “When I started to count my blessings, my whole life turned around.” Your sunlight is a fire to be kindled to light and change the world.

Have a beautiful day and a magnificent week!!!
