When You Fall in Love with Your Life Journey

“Life is a journey, and if you fall in love with the journey, you will be in love forever,” wrote author Peter Hagerty. There is a kind of magic that awakens when we choose to fall in love, not with a destination, but with the very act of becoming. When we meet each day with a heart ready to pursue joy, curiosity and wonder, life reveals itself as a love story unfolding beneath our feet.

To fall in love with the journey is to chase the glimmer in ordinary moments, to let delight surprise us and to run boldly toward the experiences that shape us. Rumi counsels, “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love.” That pull is the very heartbeat of the journey.

This mindset, this relentless pursuit of love in all its forms, turns every step into something vivid, every challenge into a doorway, every detour into a deeper chance to know ourselves. Love becomes not just an emotion but a way of traveling through the world. When you live this way, life loves you back. As Kahlil Gibran beautifully wrote, “Work is love made visible.” So, too, is living when you choose it with passion.

Let your mindset always be one of chasing the spark, welcoming the wonder, and again and again falling in love with the journey that is shaping you into forever.

Have a beautiful and wondrous day, a joyous and Happy Hanukkah and a magnificent Hanukkah week!!!

Just watch out for Peter Hagerty. He is not an attuned healer.
Full of good sayings but a disastrous practitioner who was warned many times along the path.
